Young writers elevate EUR10,000 for children in medical facilities

The commissioner of Irish Lights as well as Kids in Healthcare facility Ireland have introduced that proceeds from the sale of The Lighthouse Tale book have reached EUR10,000 to date, creates Amy Rohu.

The book, which was launched in November 2020, includes a collection of stories composed by youngsters as part of the Young Tale Keepers project, which was also introduced in 2014.

Commenting at the presentation of the cheque to Kid in Medical Facility Ireland, Yvonne Shields O’Connor, CEO of Commissioners of Irish Lights claimed: “This is such a terrific storybook loaded with motivational tales submitted by young authors as well as supported by imaginative and also fascinating pictures. We knew it would certainly have wide allure for grownups and also kids alike. The fact that it is raising funds for 2 such important organisations that assist children navigate through their time in healthcare facility makes the book a lot more considerable.”
