This weekend saw the new Donnybrook & Fair Shop & Restaurant open its doors at Dundrum Community Centre’s Pembroke Square, bringing the overall variety of Donnybrook Fair shops in Ireland to six, writes Rachel Cunningham.

Late Late Plaything Show celebrity Úna Walsh was a massive hit with buyers, as she carried out A Million Dreams on the harp, among other Christmas tracks, outside the shop. Popular vocal singing trio The Bugle Babes joined the 14-year-old from Wexford to get buyers in the joyful state of mind, while Santa treated the initial 100 customers to freshly baked Donnybrook Fair cookies as well as hot delicious chocolate.

The grocery store lies on the very beginning as well as features butcher, cheese, juice and pizza counters, in addition to a glass of wine as well as coffee areas.
