Rathfarnham’s Murphy is diving in for Tokyo

Olympic sailer Annalise Murphy has described her preparations for this month’s Tokyo Olympics as ‘harsh’ as she tries to declare the gold medal in Japan.

The Rathfarnham 31-year-old informed the Irish Times: “My health and fitness program is rather ruthless, but I recognize that entering into the Tokyo Olympics I do not assume there’s going to be anybody that I’m competing against that is mosting likely to be fitter or stronger than me.
