Dún Laoghaire– Rathdown Region Council has been given financing by the National Transport Authority to install cycle car parking around Dublin and now welcomes sports clubs to get the cycle parking.
This will allow the council to sustain a raising variety of sports clubs who are advertising as well as urging their members to walk and cycle to training and to video games.
An Cathaoirleach Cllr Una Power welcomed the campaign and also said: “Having great protected cycle car parking near pitches or clubs is important to encourage more individuals to make the decision to cycle to training or to a video game”.
Dún Laoghaire– Rathdown Region Council proactively advertises biking as a secure, healthy, and environmental friendly travel mode as well as is currently developing a substantial number of biking framework plans in the County as part of the National Transportation Authority Lasting Transport Actions Grants (STMG) Programme 2021.
